Vehicle & Equipment Requirements

Cars

All cars used for deliveries must meet basic safety standards to ensure reliable service and protect both drivers and customers. Drivers are responsible for maintaining their vehicles in safe, operable condition, which includes regular checks on brakes, tires, headlights, and windshield wipers. Proof of insurance and registration is required, as well as adherence to local licensing laws.

Cars should be clean and suitable for transporting groceries, especially perishable items. Drivers should ensure their vehicles have adequate storage space to secure items and prevent spills. For added efficiency, drivers are encouraged to use GPS navigation for accurate route tracking and delivery optimization. Proper vehicle maintenance is essential to meet delivery standards and ensure a smooth experience for both the driver and the customer.

Enclosed Bikes (if used)

For enclosed bike delivery, drivers must ensure the bike is equipped with all necessary safety gear, including reflectors and a reliable brake system. Enclosed bikes should have secure storage space to protect groceries from weather exposure. Drivers are encouraged to inspect their bikes regularly, focusing on tire pressure, lights, and cargo areas. Using enclosed bikes can be ideal for eco-friendly, short-distance deliveries in urban settings, where vehicles may not be required.
