By accessing or performing services as a Tasker, you agree to these Terms of Service, along with the attached waiver and non-compete agreement. Please read carefully to understand your responsibilities and guidelines.

 

1. Scope of Services

As a Tasker with [Platform Name] Home Care, you provide a range of home care services, including cleaning, organizing, laundry, pet care, yard maintenance, and small repairs. Services are provided on an “as-is” basis, without specific guarantees of results but with a commitment to professionalism and quality. Service details and rates may be updated periodically.

2. Tasker Responsibilities

  • Home Preparation: Ensure the workspace is free of hazards and items requiring caution before starting any service.

  • Pet and Safety Considerations: Verify any information regarding pets or safety instructions provided by the client. Follow all safety practices to avoid any issues related to pets or environmental factors.

  • Hazard Awareness: Stay alert to any hazardous conditions impacting safety, such as electrical, structural, or environmental risks. Report these to the client or management as necessary.

3. No-Touch Policy

You are expected to follow a strict no-touch policy regarding clients’ personal belongings, such as jewelry, electronics, and other valuable or sensitive items, ensuring clients' privacy and the safety of their belongings.

4. Service Adjustments and Cancellations

  • Service Modifications: Clients may request additional tasks or modifications, such as deep cleaning, at least 24 hours in advance. Be prepared to accommodate these requests when authorized, and inform management if adjustments to scheduling or rates are required.

  • Cancellations: Clients may cancel or reschedule services up to 24 hours before a scheduled service. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in a cancellation fee. Management will inform you if these changes affect your schedule.

5. Pricing and Payments

  • Pricing: Rates for services are set by [Platform Name] Home Care and shared with clients. Taskers are compensated based on these established rates.

  • Payment Terms: Payments for services are managed by [Platform Name] Home Care, and you will receive payment as per the agreed compensation terms. Report any client payment issues to management.

6. Liability and Limitations

  • Assumption of Risk: Taskers should follow safety guidelines, though certain risks may be inherent in the job. Taskers should remain mindful of potential hazards and take necessary precautions.

  • Release of Liability: [Platform Name] Home Care is not liable for:

    • Incidental or accidental property damage caused by minor errors unless gross negligence is proven.

    • Any personal injury sustained by you while performing services. Please follow safety practices and protocols to minimize risk.

    • Product sensitivities unless specific requirements are communicated to you by [Platform Name] Home Care or the client.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

As a Tasker, you may encounter personal client information and belongings. You are responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality and respecting the privacy of all clients. Do not share any client details outside of service purposes.

8. Eco-Friendly and Product Use

Always use eco-friendly, non-toxic products in line with [Platform Name] Home Care’s guidelines. If clients specify product preferences, management will inform you. Handle all products carefully to prevent adverse reactions.

9. Youth Involvement and Community Impact

If you supervise youth team members, ensure they adhere to the same service and professionalism standards. As part of our commitment to community, youth engagement reflects our values and professionalism.

10. Background Checks and Security

All Taskers undergo background checks as part of the onboarding process. An enhanced background check may be requested for specific clients, managed by [Platform Name] Home Care.

11. Non-Compete Agreement

As a Tasker for [Platform Name] Home Care, you agree not to engage in any business or provide services that directly compete with [Platform Name] Home Care within [specified geographic area] for a period of [specified number of years] after the termination of your engagement with the Company. A separate Non-Compete Agreement will be provided to you for review and signature.

12. Changes to Terms
