Biker Safety Protocols

Our delivery team is trained extensively to prioritize safety on every ride. Each biker undergoes a comprehensive training program that covers urban cycling techniques, traffic laws, and best practices for handling deliveries on busy streets. Training also includes situational awareness exercises, ensuring that bikers are well-prepared to navigate high-traffic areas, intersections, and other challenging environments. Regular refresher sessions are conducted to keep all riders updated on the latest safety standards and to reinforce safe riding habits.

In addition to training, our bikers are equipped with essential safety gear to protect them during deliveries. Each rider is provided with a durable helmet, high-visibility reflective clothing, and front and rear bike lights to ensure maximum visibility, particularly during low-light conditions. Bikers are also encouraged to wear weather-appropriate gear, such as rain jackets and gloves, to stay safe and comfortable in varying conditions. Our protocol requires regular equipment checks, ensuring that bikes are well-maintained, lights are functional, and all gear is in good condition.

Weather Policy

Adverse weather can present challenges for bike deliveries, and safety remains our top priority. During extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain, snow, or high winds, deliveries may be delayed or adjusted to protect the safety of our riders. We monitor weather forecasts closely and communicate with customers when weather may impact delivery times, providing updates on expected delays to ensure clear expectations. In certain severe conditions, such as thunderstorms or icy roads, deliveries may be temporarily suspended until conditions improve.

Our riders are also trained to handle moderate weather changes with the right equipment, including waterproof bags, rain gear, and anti-slip footwear. If weather conditions worsen unexpectedly mid-delivery, riders are encouraged to find a safe shelter and resume only when it’s safe. We prioritize the safety of both our riders and our deliveries, ensuring that all orders are managed responsibly during challenging weather conditions.
